One of the most visited religious sites in Israel isn’t Christian, Jewish, or Muslim but is part of the relatively new Bahá'í religious faith; it is the Bahá'í Hanging Gardens in Haifa. Although heavily visited, the Bahá'í Hanging Gardens are off the radar of most followers of other faiths. The Bahá'í faith is monotheistic and one of the newest of the world's major religions. It was founded by Bahá'u'lláh in Iran in 1863 and has 7 million followers. The Bahá'í faith teaches the essential worth of all religions and rejects racism and nationalism.
